GH Manufacturing Silent Auction 2018
On November 20 and 21, GH Manufacturing employees participated in the annual Silent Auction. Staff enjoyed a friendly bidding war on items generously donated mostly by our suppliers and local businesses. One of the fan favourites is the yearly “Mystery Gift” which in the past has turned out to be a giant can of beans! (Don’t worry – this year it was a Hickory Farms gift basket!)
The auction, which is in support of the United Way Hastings & Prince Edward, raised a total of $2,606 for the charity. Along with some smaller events and payroll deductions, it is part of GH Manufacturing’s yearlong commitment to supporting the United Way Hastings & Prince Edward. The company’s United Way Committee has also held a used book sale, a pyjama and pizza day, and several gift basket draws throughout the year. They will be running a bake sale early December.
